Envelope Delay in CATV Systems (1965)

By Gaylord Rogeness, AMECO

The objectives of my paper are first to define envelope delay. Second, discuss the effects of envelope delay distortion of TV pictures. Third, discuss the sources of envelope delay or where does envelope delay originate in the CATV transmission system? And finally, suggest possible measurement techniques and solutions to the problem of envelope delay distortion.
