Aural Services For The FM Band (1974)

By Frank A. Genochio, CATEL

Most CATV systems carry FM signals from direct "off air" or microwave delivered sources. This paper reviews several additional services which can contribute toward the development of a total CAFM (Community Antenna FM) concept. Included is a discussion of the local origination of monaural, stereo and quadraphonic programming TV /FM simulcasts, and special services, such as, standard time, weather and international short wave rebroadcast.
