Call for NCTA Technical Papers™ and for SCTE Conference on Emerging Technologies®
The Call for NCTA Technical Papers and SCTE Conference on Emerging Technologies is NOW CLOSED. Authors selected for either program will be notified in late December. Questions regarding your abstract should be directed to: technicalpapers@ncta.com. Questions specifically dealing with SCTE Conference for Emerging Technologies should be directed to: gcalcaterra@scte.org.
If Selected for NCTA Technical Papers
Authors whose abstracts are accepted for the 2009 NCTA Technical Papers will need to:
- Submit completed papers in both hard-copy and electronic forms to NCTA by Friday, February 6, 2009.
- Obtain all required company clearances and execute a copyright transfer agreement (no exceptions).
- Present a 15-minute oral presentation of the selected paper during a Technical Session at The Cable Show '09 in Washington, DC April 1-3.
- IMPORTANT – It is important that you understand the committee bases their decision to accept the paper based on the primary author and it is expected that the primary author will present the paper. Presenter substitutions are generally not permitted – exceptions are available in extreme circumstances, and at the sole discretion of the panel moderator – unapproved substitutions may result in removal from the panel.
- Speakers are responsible for their own travel and registration fees.
